ABOUT THE WORK

This work was composed in 1987 at the WDR studios in Cologne, with Klaus Schöning as producer. It is part of the Hörspiel genre, which in German refers to a type of work, in relation with radio creation, which oscillates between the dramatic-narrative and the musical styles. In this piece, time and space are juxtaposed, but so are languages. The author constructs it as a certain mythical narration of the History of Humanity, which emerged from water and is linked to it.

The author's voice says at the start: "It is at the beginning of time that the woman of thought and the man of action meet. And they bathe together. And thus they create the Universe."
