Art D es un ciclo mensual de arte de acción internacional que incluye una parte de performance en vivo y otra de teoría, reflexión y debate. El ciclo, la primera sesión del cual se celebró en 2017, está organizado por el CCCC junto a la Asociación Cultural Art D, un colectivo de artistas e investigadores de diferentes generaciones que promueven el arte de acción con el apoyo del Consorci de Museus y con Bartolomé Ferrando como impulsor de la iniciativa junto a Lucía Peiró, Almudena Millán i Álvaro Terrones.

Concha Jerez (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1941). Artista Multidisciplinar. Cursó las carreras de Piano en el Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid y la de Ciencias Políticas en la Universidad de Madrid. Desde 1973 hasta el momento actual, realiza obras diversas con carácter multidisciplinar. A partir de 1976 centra su trabajo en el desarrollo del concepto de Instalación, como obra In Situ, en muchas obras con carácter InterMedia-, ampliando desde comienzos de los 80 su actividad a la performance y desde principios de los 90 a Conciertos InterMedia y a la creación de obras de Arte Radiofónico. A partir de 1990 compagina la realización de obras individuales con otras realizadas con el músico y artista multidisciplinar José Iges. Entre1991 y 2011 ha sido Profesora de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Salamanca. Entre los premios obtenidos por Concha Jerez destacan la Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes 2010, el Premio MAV (Mujeres en las Artes Visuales) 2012, el Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas 2015, el Premio Velázquez de las Artes Plásticas 2017 como reconocimiento a toda su carrera artística y la Medalla de Oro de Canarias 2018.

Art D is a monthly cycle of international action art that includes a live performance part and a theory, reflection and debate part. Concha Jerez (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1941). Multidisciplinary artist. She studied Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid and Political Science at the University of Madrid. From 1973 to the present, she has been working on various multidisciplinary works. Since 1976 she has focused her work on the development of the concept of Installation, as an In Situ work, in many works with an InterMedia character, extending her activity from the beginning of the 80s to performance and from the beginning of the 90s to InterMedia Concerts and the creation of works of Radiophonic Art. Since 1990 she has combined her individual works with others created with the musician and multidisciplinary artist José Iges. Between 1991 and 2011 she was a lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca. Concha Jerez's awards include the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts 2010, the MAV Award (Women in the Visual Arts) 2012, the National Fine Arts Award 2015, the Velázquez Fine Arts Award 2017 in recognition of her entire artistic career and the Gold Medal of the Canary Islands 2018.
